State Key Laboratory of Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Replacement and Control Treatment was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and was established inside Zhejiang Research Institute of Chemical Industry. The overall orientation of the laboratory is to enhance the capability of technological innovation by means of strengthening functions, integrating platforms and building new platforms, open up research fields and build a leading innovation and application research platform for fluorinated greenhouse gas alternatives in China. We will strive to build it into a first-class laboratory in China with international influence.
Laboratory closely follows industrial trend, tracks international technological development and chooses four research directions, namely invention of climate-friendly substitutes, applied technology development, system construction of substitute standards and resource utilization. We will focus on the development of climate-friendly automotive refrigerants, fire suppression agents, blowing agents and fluorinated electronic gases,research on alternative screening, synthesis, process development and applications , And gradually establish and improve China's fluorine-containing greenhouse gas substitutes evaluation system and standard system.
