Zhejiang Int’l Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Int’l Logistics), founded in 2005, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Intmedic. Its logistic centre covers an area of 60,000 m2 with a 4,000-cubic-meter cold storage. It has 6 functions of drug storage, acceptance and maintenance, logistics processing, loading and unloading, concentralized distribution and information service. Int’l Logistics’ existing distribution network covers township health centers and community health service stations in Zhejiang Province and east China regions and ensures that drugs can be delivered within 4-8 hours in Hangzhou, 24 hours in Zhejiang Province and 48 hours in neighboring provinces and villages and towns in Zhejiang Province. In addition, it also launches emergent medicine delivery and self-delivery of cold chain drugs.
In June 2008, Int’l Logistics passed the certification of Zhejiang Food and Drug Administration and became the first qualified third party pharmaceutical logistics enterprise in Zhejiang Province to provide logistics service to majority of drugs, including cold chain drugs.
In 2008, Int’l Logistics participates in drafting Technology and Management Specifications for Cold Chain Drug Logistics with Intmedic, Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Profession Association and Zhejiang Disease Control and Prevention Centre, which fills the refrigerated drug management blank in China.
As a designated unit for drug storage of Zhejiang Provincial Government, Int’l Logistics is responsible for 70% drug supplies for disasters, plagues and accidental event. From 2006 to 2010, Int’l Logistics was awarded a number of prizes by Zhejiang Provincial Government and Hangzhou Municipal Government due to its excellent service; in 2010, it passed recertification of ISO9001: 2008.
